Bad Art by Good People represents what we believe about creating. Art is for everyone. It’s for artists, it’s for bankers, civic leaders, teachers, contractors, parents, and children. The Bad Art by Good People exhibition challenges people in our community who do not normally express themselves through art to give it a try! We ask our participants which medium they might be interested in, and then partner them with teaching artists. Our artists have spent the summer meeting up in studios and homes after their day jobs and on weekends, making their pieces to show in our gallery.
The opening reception for “Bad Art By Good People” and the partner show, “Ozarks Icons” will be during First Friday Art Walk on September 4 at The Creamery Arts Center, from 5-7 pm. Made possible by the McQueary family.
